I SECOND THE POSITIVE REVIEW BY “POGO GAMER” … SEVERAL POINTS.
IN ALL THE REVIEWS OF OTHER ASUS NETBOOKS, I HAVE NEVER SEEN MENTION OF THE MOVEMENT OF THE BROWSER WINDOW … A VERY LARGE PLUS … WHAT I MEAN IS IF YOU MOUSE TO THE TOP OF THE SCREEN YOU GET THE STANDARD VIEW, BUT BY MOUSING OFF THE BOTTOM ,THE BROWSER IS MOVED UP, CLIPPING ABOUT 3 INCHES OFF THE TOP VIEW TO ADD 3 MORE INCHES TO THE BOTTOM … THIS HAS THE EFFECT OF EXPANDING THE VERTICAL SCREEN SIZE VERY DRAMATICALLY.
IN SPENDING 2 HOURS SETTING UP THE MACHINE LAST EVENING (ON BATTERY POWER MIND YOU) IN A RESTAURANT ,IE, INSTALLING WINDOWS UPDATES, FIREFOX, JAVA, SKYPE, STANDALONE SECURITIES’ TRADING SOFTWARE FROM INTERACTIVE BROKERS, AND SEVERAL OTHERS, AND 4-5 REBOOTS (WHICH USES A LOT OF POWER), THE MACHINE HAD 80% OR 7 HOURS LEFT … A REALLY INCREDIBLE RESULT …
THE BLUE COVER IS A FINGERPRINT MAGNET AS ALWAYS MENTIONED BUT, AS A NEWLY WAXED CAR, LOOKS STRIKING FRESHLY WIPED. GREAT PRODUCT.
