I did a lot of research online for a couple of weeks and choose the ASUS 1005HA-P because of the combination of features and price, plus the consistently great reviews all over the web. Just Google ASUS 1005HA-P Review and you will see what I mean. I have had the unit for about 1 week and everything works perfectly. I installed the 2 GB memory expansion in just a few minutes. I then loaded Windows 7 RC and the performance has been great. The ASUS supplied applications needed to be reinstalled and a few wouldn’t work but I didn’t expect to use them anyway. I did end up going back to the original XP configuration to load a newer version of Windows 7 and the supplied ASUS utility tool to do this worked flawlessly. What a quick and easy way to get totally back to fresh out of the box status. Why don’t they all do this for new PC’s? All my expectations have been exceeded. It is a finger print magnet but boy does it looks nice when you wipe it down!
