I’m actually downgrading in performance in getting this netbook but the performance lost is made up with the smaller form factor and greatly increased battery life. The laptop I replaced with this had a intel core duo 2.0 Ghz and a discreet graphics option. I have only had 1 minor/major issue with my netbook and had to update the bios to resolve it. Whenever the netbook ran in power saving mode, the machine would lock up. Luckily, the bios update seemed to fix the problem. As of now, two days after getting the netbook, I am extremely happy in my purchase.
